This video brought back many memories. Over 30 years ago I worked at a Cat dealership in eastern North Carolina. Because I was a certified welder I got to do lots of lift arm, boom, and bucket line boring. I'd set up the alignment bar first, then bore out the imperfections, and then using 1/8" 7018 welding rod build up the inner surface for final reboring to spec. I really loved doing that work. Great video and thanks for sharing! And for those of you who don't know, a fly cutter isn't for taking out pesky insects! :)

CEEA turning eggs into circles since 2017. No hole's to sloppy for us! It doesn't matter how big your hole is, we can fill it! Well used holes are our specialty! Done tight, fit right!

That is definitely what you call an "Engineering Weekend", caused by a lack of a few grammes of grease. That was out of round big time, ouch. Brilliant work Kurtis, great vlog both. Thanks for sharing. Regards John.

Like we used to say "that's not really a Friday afternoon job!" Problem is, that one wasn't a Saturday afternoon job either. 🤣🤣 You're a good man though to keep working on it. I came across a mechanic once that couldn't be fucked working an extra hour to get a vehicle on the road that was desperately needed despite all the late hours that were put in on his behalf by other people. Definitely not happy Jan! 🤬 Vastly different circumstances I know, but same sort of sentiment. You're committed enough to see it through and you've earned a lot of respect for it, just don't let them take advantage of you too much. Good job so far! 👍

The incredible work you do is very good. It's good that you're making money from other people's mismanagement.
