@@boblatkey7160he probably meant the fire was out by Running Springs, it’s still blazing out in the uninhabited forest areas though so it’s at least starting to become a bit better currently the Bridge Fire looks more concerning due to it being close to Mt Baldy Village.

Fire depts need more or better equipment to knock these fires out as soon as they break out before they spread out of control... something isn't working.

My husband used to fight some of these fires and believe me where there is wind, extremely dry conditions. The fires make their own weather, and it isn’t as simple as just more equipment.

@@terribolding8162 I agree but we should have a "massive" fleet of water dropping helicopters and tanker to be dispatched when a fire is just a couple acres if thats what it takes but the management of the state and wildfire response lacks resources.....the state is seriously dysfunctional and clearly unprepared for any wild fire with no improvements.

Its not an equipment issue. Fire engines have no impact on wildfire spread during wind events. These fies burn until the wind shifts back on the head of the fire or it straight up burns into an area that has no fuel.

@@aceedmond8053 CDF has a massive fleet of air attack resources. Those don't stop a crown fire that is being driven by wind. These are natural events that suck for anyone that wants to live in the forest (and refuses to do adequate brush clearance around their house...) and is not something that you can hand wave with a "magic wand" because you saw an internet video of some air drops.
