how come keyboards don’t have win and fn keys? i understand 40% or smaller bc with the use of fn you can get more layers but with a tkl size how does that work?

From what I have gathered people only care about the "blocker" in its place (which is the colored aluminum in place of a key). It's a visual thing that a large amount of people prefer. I don't personally love it because I am a functional man and I use nearly all of my bottom row with both left and right hands and I use windows key constantly (because it keeps my desktop and taskbar extremely minimal, I just use Windows key as my navigation for extreme speed). But yeah, someone else may chime in here but I'm convinced it is purely aesthetic - the aluminum is beautiful though - if I could have the aesthetic of no windows key yet somehow still have a windows key, I would.
