Line of Duty has been so spectacular that I felt that it took series 5 a long time to warm up and reach the level of the previous 4. Can't wait for series 6 and the infamous H to be revealed.

@@marichristian1072 That's not to say 1,2 and 4 aren't amazing though. I love the whole series (5 not as much) but series 3 kind of just takes the cake for me, it was so gripping I couldn't stop watching! Plus... Lindsay Denton... Only THE best character on the show! I was so happy they brought her back from series 2.

it wasn't trash. it seems this season they are going for something more psychological with the framing plot and the jealous ex but for sure something even bigger threat will come along in the mid season.

I mean I know where you're coming from but season 6 is by far much better than season 5. Yes, the opening scene to season 6 wasn't as "dramatic" but I liked that... It's a good change of pace. Would have been a bit repetitive to have the same sort of opening as the previous 5 seasons.
