A class of life-saving Appliance (LSA) that are found on every vessel.
Used when a line is required to be passed accurately and quickly between vessels, ship-to-shore, shore-to-ship or rescue of personnel in distress.
Used for casting a pilot line for cables and ropes in rescue operation at sea.
It consist of line, an integral striker mechanism and rocket.
