you need to remove the uperhull liner and sprat the inside of the hull it increases the strength of the boat and prevents punctures.

How comfortable is that on the feet after a whole day? I'm in a toss up on my fiberglass boat. Don't want carpet, leaning towards rubberized coating.

Its fine. Just get a light color for the floor, it gets hot. I'm going to do this to a great old boat that needs a facelift.

Ron B You could probably do it, but I would highly suggest you don't. Line-X has a texture, which would make a LOT of drag in the water, slowing you down and causing much more fuel consumption.

it only has a texture if you do the texture coat at after the clear coats...

Mike Sullivan Texture doesn’t slow the boat down it reduces the surface contact with the water like dents on a golf that actually causes the ball to travel faster through the air. I’m not speculating they have done this, Also Linex is Hydrophobic unlike hull paint which attracts water. It’s molecular science not magic.

You can’t Line-X a boat. My friend has been sailing for 40 years says you can only paint a boat bottom. This video is obviously Fake. 💁🏻‍♂️

You can absolutely Bed liner a boat . It’s fiberglass . You wouldn’t want it on the bottom due to drag . Usually freshwater is gel coat . And salt water antifouling paint . But you can put this on boat . They use it for non skid applications all the time

@Cereal Pirate it really depends on the speed and application , if one did not adhere well cause of bad prep then that would open a void for that gushing water . The mechanical bond would be tough and would need to be hot dip application . But it could work for slower vessels . Me personally I would just do it topside

Line x just covers up cracking it don't fix em seems like a half butt repair ide never buy a boat sprayed with this

Those cracks are just surface cracks In the gel coat not all the way through
