1. Go to lineage 2 web site 2. There click Game tab -> Download and Installation -> Installation 3. Follow the instructions on that page to install L2 4. Once installed open the installation folder and you'll find a Music folder... guess what's inside that folder... You will probably need to download "Lineage 2 OGG PATCHER", just google those key words

The one and only true MMO I ever played. It was hard, it was grind, but it was so good. you saw people walking with so much stuff and god auras and you knew those guys were gods. This game had it all : Epic open pvp (like wherever you PvE, you can not be safe), Open clan/alliance system, Castles which brings real politics, Huge PvE content, Very good music, FREE addons, Epic design, And even more (tournament, nobility, the cursed sword, craft, soul stone ....) Oh and this game has the best healers of all games.

2014andBeyonD yea the lag thing was always a bitch but after that initial stick/lag of the screen it was ok unless you were in a big raid with 120 players or more then you would need to go back a resolution for it to run.(comp wasn't so great back then lol) Aswell I left way before free to play. Game went went the wrong direction at a point. Skill changes were poorly made new skills were dumb or didn't do much. Bots were outta control...however my dwarf was plus 13 almost all skills (that could be) and she was red every day cleaning them out of the cats/necros :P

+MrSmall72 Or I can remember a time when I killed a darkelf PK with full avadon set on my dwarf spoiler with C grade stuff stocked up with CP potions and had his avadon boots as a drop (he begged me to give them back to him, ofcourse I didnt). :D Avadon boots was the hardest part of the set.

+Master Saddur I have some very similar memories. I was a PK Hunter. xD It was another way of making money in this game. I was lvl 48, SpH (on C3), and I had B grade armor parts, Top C weapons. Once I got a Bow of Peril (damn, this shit was expensive XD). I even had a strategy of making other players PK and after that I killed them and got their items. That was business. :D

L2 isn't just a game... that's true. Grind, grind and grind again... But that's not all. It's a way of play and life that no other MMO (and/or videogame) gave me. It has his time... I spent 8 years playing this amazing and beautiful game, wich gave me so much memories and i don't regret any of them. I'm glad that i was able to played it when it had so much players. The world of L2 and his OST are one of the most beautifull and epic i seen in a MMO. Thx for brough back all this memories and nostalgia 🙏

AT THE TIME, THIS was everything an MMO SHOULD be. An absolute mystery to me as a child, trying desperately to understand a virtual world filled with fantastical imagery, captivating music, breathtaking landscapes and a community exactly as diverse in personalities, principals and backgrounds - all thriving and participating in an era of utter antiquity... I miss this game so much because it paved the way for me to become the gamer I am today. So many fond memories :)

Oh man, I started this game around the middle-end of C3. Man this game had some epic music and pvp. I wasn't very pro at the pvp, but hey, I still had fun with it! Word's will just be word's, but anyone that played and lived in this age/society knows Lineage 2 and ragnarock online will ALWAYS represent what an MMORPRG is and shall be . Sao, Log Horizon ect... are all based on them. Even when you play Black desert and listen to this, the game becomes 50 times better.
