For new peoples : Unofficial doesn't mean it is insecure or unstable. Unofficial simply means the rom is not patched by official team members , which is usually done by devs who want to make their own flavor or want to join the main team. Sometimes unofficial builds are equal or more stable and featurefull than official ones.

I last used a custom ROM in 2016 I guess. I started using custom ROMs in 2010, when I had a Sony W8. My last try was when I brunched Cyanogenmod Lollipop for my Taoshan (Xperia L). It was my first and last try. Yes, it's good to see where Lineage OS (formerly CyanogenMod) is now, after being the official OS provider for OnePlus for a couple of generations.

Hello. Did you know that Android 14 and later only has 64bit support? Which means that older tablets and mobile phones with 32-bit CPU processors cannot run Android 14 or later. On 32bit devices, there are many apps and games that you cannot use. so older 32bit devices will have problems in the future

well the only con I can think of is maybe unlocking the bootloader which does void warenty in SOME brands, like Motorola.

Lineage OS devices will not get all the android 14 pixel exclusive features like Ai wallpapers and others. Maybe through a 3rd party app but not out of the box. Also the unlimited storage in google photos was only Pixel 1/2/3 exclusive so not even the newer pixel devices have that. Edit - If this rom has unlimited storage moded into it then google will recognise it as a google pixel 2/3 device.

NEED HELP! Hello. Just installed android lineageOS 17.1 Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 sm-p605 (lt03lte) There are obvious bugs that have NEVER been fixed! This has been reported by many people! 1. camera does not work, only black screen. 2. Camera LED. lights don't work. 3. Rooting does not work in lineageOS so you must first install original factory rom before you can install anything else. 4. wifi does not work as it should. Slow wifi. I tried an android 7 build and everything worked! but youtube and other apps only work with android 8 and newer!

Depends on which model phone you install LineageOS onto. If it's a Pixel, then you can reinstall GCam along with GCam Services Provider, disable the internet permissions and the camera works as it did before. Other models, such as Sony Xperia aren't as simple.

About fast charging, I've seen it ported across to LineageOS for some models such as Samsung Galaxy S10, but I don't know if all officially supported models retain that feature. A good place to check is XDA forums and read through the posts there.

Assuming you're using the official version, you might have a VoLTE issue. There should be a custom menu in the settings for that particular model called Xperia Parts where the developer has collected various modem firmware depending on which country and telephone provider. Maybe changing that setting to one which matches your country and/or provider will get VoLTE working (assuming that is the problem in the first place)

More privacy and battery life if you don't include GApps in the installation (The video shows a phone with GApps installed). But without GApps, you can't use certain Google apps which relies on the presence of GApps (I don't use GApps with LineageOS personally)

Sorry m8, you can't install any rom on Vivo/Oppo phones, because those companies do not allow you to unlock the bootloader of the phone (which is an integral part of flashing any rom)
