LINEAR ANTENNA TEST TBS UNIFY PRO 5G8

Was very impressed with the linear antenna setup. Its my new go to specially since its 15g worth of weight savings. Remember everyone, this setup might not be for you. Not saying it'll do a better job then anything else. But It gets the job done for me.

6s in a parking garage....woah👍 That's a great weight reduction, Plus I love the idea of not having to worry about snagging the big cp antennas. One question though... are you running all cp antennas on the rx side?

Hey man. I enjoyed this video, as I do the rest of your stuff, great flying man. I'm thinking of building a 6s setup using that frame too and was curious what kind of flight time you got in this video. Looks like you got about 2 minutes but I wasn't sure if that was getting critical on voltage or not. Also, how do you like those rebels? I was thinking either those or the tmotor F60's. I would appreciate any help, thank's Matty.

Whats good Matty Quick question why so many capacitors ? Does it impeove your video ? I have one and have noticed a decrease in noise in my video but is more than 1 better ?

Great vid, love actually seeing this gear in action. Quick: what do you think about those new AXII mini CP antennas coming out? Maybe a good middle group for those wanting more range but lighter than the triumph?

you'd save only 3-4g. The heavy part is the SMA connectors, and all the cabling and wiring.

Drone Punk I had others in the air and there was no difference. I just don't have a chest cam so if I need stick movement I need a buddy to hold it. Also the guy flying was on raceband 5 and I was on raceband 8 and I was still flying the whole area.

Drone Punk I use it a lot including situations with 7 other people, 25mw too. Cheap option for garage. Works pretty well. Both on tramp or unify. Quality receiver and antennas are the key. I do tend to use triumph on events. Day2day: whip :)

what are those capacitors on the bottom of the quad for? voltage sag?

There probably for the voltage spikes from the esc's. Running 6S the voltage spike will kill any camera.

sqwert it's just the pixels in the tango screen. Those lines aren't there on the dvr footage.

Blown away by the reception, i get pretty the same reception, using the stock setup on 200mw, was even capable of getting a decent signal, going from a parking basement, to the upper floor. Do you know, if trappy decides to sell these antennas, at some point?
