Dear sir, can you help me in solving inertia relief on a spring.
@Aeroswap3 жыл бұрын
Sure. I have not posted a video about inertia relief analysis yet, but the setup process is similar to a modal analysis. 'SUPPORT' boundary condition has to be applied instead of SPC.

I don't have "EIGRL" in the card image list? Is it because I've selected optistruct at the beginning?

There is a concept called 'mesh convergence'. I will not be able to explain it here in one comment. Please search about the same if you can. I also plan on posting a separate video about this topic soon. Until then, you can always contact me via email regarding any doubts or suggestions. My email id is provided in the 'About' section of this channel.

Great work Swapnil. When I first learned buckling analysis long time ago I was confused about the eigen value and what it contributes to determine the critical load. Nice job using 1 to explain the critical load for the beginners. Is ur next buckling analysis going to be non-linear? Haha
@Aeroswap3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ken! Yes, absolutely. Emmanuel has done a great job by providing me with a nonlinear buckling case. We were working on the same for the last few days. It is almost ready and will be uploaded soon :)

Yes definitely, you can do preprocessing for numerous solvers in Hypermesh. Ansys is one of them!

How to give rotational velocity in optistruct
@Aeroswap3 жыл бұрын
What are you trying to simulate? Optistruct is mostly used for static analysis and optimization so velocity is not a commonly used boundary condition.

Sir, have you already made contact with those two model of Hopper & Frame ?
@Aeroswap3 жыл бұрын
Hello Onkar, The two components are geometrically connected. I designed the model that way to avoid complexities. You do not need to create any contacts or joints. Just organize the surfaces (if needed) and you will be good to start with the setup as shown in the video 👍🏻
