I saw him run at a meet in Sheffield 1993. Only time I went to an athletics event (even though Im a big fan watching on tv). I had a perfect view of the track and I couldnt believe how fast he was. Ran 9.9 something. The first thing I saw as soon as I sat down was Jan Zelenzy throw 95 metres plus in the javelin. Incredible. But Linford was the man. What a competitor he was. He was inspirational like Seb Coe and Steve Ovett.

Christie drug cheated all his career, got away with it. He nearly got caught early in his career but came out with a pathetic Ginseng excuse. It was Seb Coe who had the final choice to ban him but he decided not too, he got away with it. He finally got caught at the end of his career for failing a test with the drug Nandrolone. On top of that he was arrogant after races, taking his shirt off parading his juiced up body. It was obvious he was JUICING! He LIED! and CHEATED! ALL his career.

Talking absolute nonsense. Clearly didn't watch the documentary where it addresses every accusation in depth. First time he was entirely acquitted by UK athletics and the IAAF. 2nd time was complete nonsense as he had been retired for a years and had absolutely no reason to cheat at all.
