@@TheCorismatic and a lot of Americans and as a matter of fact a lot of people don't use proper grammar when they speak. At least he speaks some English which we can still understand and if Ling wants to teach correct pronunciations, she has to be serious about it and not make fun of him. He looks like he is having fun with it though and I think he can say the words properly and he is playing games with her.

@@TheCorismatic glad you get my point. I love his accent and too many Americans want to change people from other countries with a different accent into sounding American when Americans themselves need educating in speaking properly and using proper grammar. I hear Americans on tv speaking and pronouncing their words wrongly: e.g two people is one another, more than one is each other, simple things like that. So I say to Ling "leave him that way. You met him, fell in love and married him speaking like that. Changing his words wouldn't make him love you any more or any less. It would only make him conscious of the way he speaks. Ling: we understand and love him, and as a matter of fact we love you too. So just be happy and enjoy your lives together. God bless you both and God bless you too Corisma .

@@TheCorismatic Thank you. People have to remember that English is a learned language. They should go back to Shakespeare and see how they spoke in those days. Even in the UK people speak differently with different accents and bad English. We learned English grammar in school in Trinidad and we were also taught English literature where we had to translate the meaning of certain phrases from the text. I had a Nigerian teacher who taught French at my high school and I loved it and the students never paid attention to his accent - just wish I had done better in french, though I can understand a little (peu).🤔😀🇹🇹🇨🇦

I love the way he pronounces his words, right or wrong. It's very endearing. And maybe, maybe, that's the way he was taught. We understand what he is saying. Even people who speak proper English pronounce words badly. If you try too hard to correct him every time he wrongly says a word, he will become very conscious of it. Just let it be. It's like taking away his identity. Anyway, you two are too precious to really criticize. It's what makes the show what it is. Bless you both.
