Lingcod 2024

The weather finally cooperated and my brother and I were able go out for our annual "Opening Day'' lingcod and halibut outing. Even though the previous weeks storms had passed, we still had to deal with some rough seas which made for a spine jarring ride out and some tough fishing conditions. After getting our limit of lingcod we decided to call it a day and not make the 10 plus mile run over to our halibut spot. Thus is the unpredictability of fishing the Straight of Juan De Fuca.
