The original song is a masterpiece, but this cover really hits home. You can feel every word. You're deeply connected to the person, even though the feeling isn't mutual. I'm actually eating a burger while listening to this song, 😅 but you can feel the weight of knowing you've been genuine from start to finish, despite the situation.

this cover feels nostalgic, like remeniscing the past. the original feels like a present, when it all happened. it's kinda weird when it supposed to be the other way round. but this is how I feel as someone who grew up when the original was released.
