In Turkish we say "yerin kulağı vardır" which directly means "the ground has ear".

Great, that expression "les murs ont des oreilles" is also used in persian ,it is rougly different though,that's how it's used:"the wall has a mouse and the mouse has ears".

In Spanish, literally translate ¨gracias AL (boca a oreja)¨, although the Spanish saying goes ¨Esto se transmite/se pasa/corre...¨ or ¨se está transmitiendo/pasando¨, or ¨está corriendo DE boca EN boca¨.

We have the exact same expression in farsi(persian) It goes: دیوار موش داره ،موشم گوش داره The literal meaning is that walls got mice and mice got ears

Hi. I have a question. Dans can be used as in,on etc. À can mean to,in,at etc. En also means to ,of,at,in etc( According to google translate). How do we know when to use which word when there are so many words for the same preposition ? For eg. If I say, la fille est dans la maison ; la fille est à la maison or la fille est en la maison. Dans,à and en- all mean 'in'. Does that mean all the 3 sentences are correct?

Hi there and thanks for your comment. the best I can advise to you in order to not get lost in the complex world of prepositions is to redirect you towards the lesson I made on prepositions (part I) there will be more to come, it's endless haha :)
