this is true, but because super break is reliant on HTB's ult which scaling decreases the more enemies there are, this makes it so to you most likely cannot 1 shot the mobs even if Lingsha breaks. (unless her damage is insane)

E1 ff has %40 def shred(cavalry set+e1), e1 ruan mei makes it %60. When you add e1 lingsha, def shred reaches %80 which is a huge boost since it is almost %30 more damage. I'm expecting them to release a better hmc in the future with def shred in their kit which will increase total to %100.

Probably should have been shown in the video that lingshas single target break is only 70 compared to gallaghers 132. Even with e1, its only a 33% increase since they both will always be with ruan meis 50% efficiency anyway. That makes gallaghers break 198 and lingsha is 105/140 at e1. Gallagher is 89%/40% better at breaking the most important target than lingsha

oh gotchu. I know that lingsha can gets bursts of toughness dmg when she goes skill, bunny, ult, bunny. I also know that gallagher can potentially fall off inregards to breaking if he doesnt get hit/has to heal cuz potentially not enough energy to burst > enhanced basic. we really just gotta see how v3 changes her

Im debating to myself if lingsha is a must have but after some time, I used my guaranteed to pull huohuo to upgrade my both Jingyuan and Jingliu+Blade team. Ive come to conclusion that my FF doesnt need over upgrading, instead Ill start to focus on my second team

Honestly, as someone who uses both Boothill and Firefly, I was looking forward to Lingsha as a way to free up some supports for one another, especially since earlier leaks were mentioning she would have toughness break enhance, which is probably the most crucial part of Ruan Mei’s kit for Boothill. So I was pretty disappointed to find out that it was only for herself, exclusive to fire weakness and it’s eidolon locked. If I was Hoyo and wanted to make her more appealing to people who are already satisfied with Gallagher as a break sustain, that’s the aspect I’d work on. Hell, make it 35% instead of 50% like Ruan Mei and also tied to her ult for all I care. Her LC seems good at least tho.

Yah I feel the same way and hope they can move the break efficiency to the base kit somehow. Im tight on jades rn after firefly and I think FF's paint point rn is single target break. Though she deletes the bar, that 1-2 turns they arent broken means no damage. If they gave her break efficiency, itd def help, cuz rn, I dont think FF needs help aoe

great vid! lingsha is definitely overall a decent upgrade over gallagher, but definitely nothing major like some overhype her to be. even in a FF team, getting eidolons/ lightcones for FF or RM would be a better investment for ur team then getting genderswap gallagher lol. i might go for her to to free up gallagher for acheron but I'll see if they buff her later on. i hope they add universal toughness reduction for her in later version cuz outside of ff teams, she's just a good healer/ cleanser. (also hoyo, plz add 5 energy for her summon and stop gatekeeping summon energy behind eidolons)

i think i will likely at least try to get Lingsha as not only for break effect teams but she seems like she can be a Charge generator for hunt March, her basic, skill and ult are all attacks and she has a follow-up that she can advance with her skill and ult, considering i have a skill point positive team right now (i have e1 Firefly, Harmony Trailblazer with Ruan Mei's LC, Hunt March and e6 Gallagher, i am still able to clear everything with full rewards, Ruan Mei is in my DoT team) i should be able to more-or-less spam Lingsha's skill to get the follow up attack as often as possible to generate charge points for March on top of the other benefits of having Lingsha on the team.

@@yun3_ She is pretty good, I am still able to complete MoC 12 and AS 4 and get all the rewards with her in the team, it may not be optimal but it works, she is good at reducing toughness if you have her Shifu be a support or Nihility character, especially with her enhanced basic after you ult with her, and I don't even run a break build on her, she shreds through toughness bars with her enhanced basic attack really well as she ignores 50% of the weakness type of the Shifu's element if you have a support or Nihility character as it on top of being able to break toughness of that element normally thanks to one of her traces Edit: also her e2 gives her a follow up attack edit 2: she also gives other buffs to whoever she designates as Shifu, basically she his a Hunt and Harmony Hybrid character, i highly recommend trying her out

We'll see how the beta goes but probably skip even if she's pretty, the only reason I would pull for her is if she has Moze on her banner lolz I wanted her at first because, again, pretty and even prettier in game but since I don't prioritize break team, I have a really good Gallagher, she's not a husbando, and all of my extra pulls are going to Feixiao after pulling Jiaoqiu... Yeah, most likely skip (please let Moze be in Feixiao banner). Honestly I have no real reason to pull abundance units now because I got lucky enough to get E1 Huohuo in a single 10 pull during her initial release (currently 7k HP, 143 SPD outside her buff, 124% ERR, stupidly insane with Robin, Tingyun, Sparkle btw) who gives out 12% SPD buff, Atk Buff whenever she does her ult, getting an extra turn for her talent, and she's just super comfy to use especially for CC heavy enemies, her passive healing is also a major life saver for a lot of my runs since her passive heals the entire team when using any character's ults (this is how she single handedly saved my Sparkle and Tingyun during my first and only run against Aventurine pre-nerf). If they don't give Lingsha an insane buff, then she'd be in a similar situation as Jiaoqiu. I think this is actually good if they do make her a slight upgrade to Gallagher instead of being his powercrept because the devs are basically proving that every new unit is not a must pull (this is me coping cuz I'm too broke to whale). But then again, only time will tell. Good video btw. Keep up the good work!

when Jq first was announced. i was like, finally, i can go “sustainless” with Jingliu. well clearly thats not happening anymore. then i saw pretty lady for break and a 5*??? good bye old man. ur time is joever. turns out also not to be the case too. moze def looks cool and i would assume he’ll be on the feixiao banner unless they pull a genshin. lets put ur support… on the next banner lol i friken wish i had huohuo. i bet than energy go hard 😞 she def in a precarious spot rn and hoping she gets buffed, even though my and most other FF do not need help. ty and i will try :)

It doesn't really matter. It means there are 2 break healers for two sides in the AS now and that's gonna push Huohuo and other healer down a tier.

i feel huohuo will stay where she's at due to how important energy is for certain teams. But having 2 break sustains will def be useful for those who actually do have 2 break teams

@@yun3_ The thing is the healer being able to break and heal independently are more treasured in Shadows. Huohuo suffers from having a non-reliable emergency healing...Which makes her a niche pick if you don't have E2 gallagher.

@@leimatzunkyo5586 gallagher def performs well in apoc shadows, But huohuo is also so good in the other 2 modes. I personally never have an issue with sustain cuz my supports are tanky. But god dang are nihility units like paper thin. If honkai switches from the break meta, which im sure it will, gallagher can lose quite a bit of value if ur not running like a robin team or break. Huohuo's energy is just always nice :)

I was really looking forward for her the moment she was teased. Reading her kit yesterday, i was really disappointed. It could be because e6 gallagher is just so good, he makes lingsha not that good. Like the gap between them aint huge

that is pretty true. gallagher is just rly solid. I think my main issue is that she doesnt really do too well against bosses/enemies with high toughness without e1. thats what break rn needs, bc spending a turn not doing break/super break for FF/boothill = 0 dmg

The fact that she will be +⅓ sp per turn (skill every 3 turns) is a turn off for me while Gallagher is +4/3 sp per turn (3 turn ult advance included). Gallagher would have to skill every other turn to maintain the SP generation that lingsha does. Firefly would need to find someone else to eat sp from if using lingsha or E1. if break amount is comparable Gallagher would be better since he can concentrate break effect into the broken window while lingsha can not. I think the only condolence to lingsha is cleansing, consistency, and attack frequency (with rabbit). The prior two can be addressed by more resets. When a unit comes out that depends on attack frequency it would be good (aside from sp) but even lingsha's attack frequency is about ~2 to 2 ⅓ per turn while Gallagher is 1 ⅔ per turn.

good analysis. I think a big issue is that lingsha might not even be positive sp wise(depending how how u want to use her) due to how fuyuan works. its quite slow rn imo and as such ur gonna really be tempted to skill to get that action advance

I thought the pull ups from skill will be like topaz but it way less. If sp neutral that is a disapointing. Unless content gets harder to need the sustain one would be hard pressed to pull. If sustain content does get hard it would likely invalidate luocha lynx natash Bailu and Gepard as well.

I think all the "minor upgrade to Gallagher' chatter will subside once hoyo makes more content that counters Gallagher i.e. more debuffs from enemies which makes Gallagher way less sp positive. Plus i see Lingsha getting more buffs.

Gala can give FF one turn ult after first stance by using QPQ Lingsha can't So easy skip If ult will forward Ling instead of summon, she will be awesome There are no offensive buffs that can overcome the ability to go to the second stance with FF just with 1 skill Better spend this 1 5Star to pull for E1 Ruan Mei
