Lin, I have previewed most of your shorts. I have watched the entire rebuild of the centrifugal pump from three phase motor to single-phase. I have seen motors wound by high speed coil winders, but never seen a motor wound by hand, Amazing. You have many talents and I enjoy watching your work. The pump you worked on needs water around to survive. It is most likely a submersible pump. Thanks and God bless you! Jim

Just a couple of comments: 1. Use your power washer to spray clean your repair items to get most of the junk and crap off. 2. Keep one of the pallet wood pieces, and use that against the piece you are pounding on. It will be easier to hit, possibly prevent cracking the piece you are working on. 3 Get a dead-blow hammer, even in the US they are only $5 and preferred when pounding on cast iron. 4. Get some narrower arc welding rods. The ones you are using are pretty thick and not making your job/welding easier. 5. Aside from tacking a piece into place, when arc welding you want to not stop/start a lot, you want to get the arc started and weld the entire seam at one steady pace. Otherwise, you are basically tack welding it, and it will fail shortly. 6. I've never seen you check the valve lash on any of the engines you've worked on. As most of this equipment is decades old, not maintained, that should be one the checks that you are making. Aside from cleaning the pistons while they are out of the engine, that valve lash will make them run better and last longer with better performance and longevity. Still undecided if this is a scam for YT money, however you seem to have some skills handling tools which speaks to likely authenticity. If you are for real, invest in a personal set of tools, wrenches, ratchets, dead blow hammer, vapor-rated mask, and a table in the blaster booth so you don't have to work bent over, and be successful.
