Duolingo doesn’t seem to do much in my opinion. I learned Japanese the “old fashion way” so when I tried the app I was confused what they expected from what they were giving beginners. I recommend the site MEMRISE. Most languages are there.

Children that age are energetic when they are out seeing new faces. It has a stimulating effect on a child. I remember, when I took my children to the water park, they had so much fun, but once it was getting later on in the day it was time to go home.... To avoid having to go through a scene at the park I would have to calm them down and tell them that it was time to go and we are coming back here because I like it here.... and they cooperated with me knowing we would return. Yes the park stimulates children, a child that is prompted to show off their abilities will get excited very much in the same way, as a child showing off their skating abilities, or watch me I have learned how to ride a bike. In this case this child has been able to learn how to speak and read multiple languages at the same time since she was born. Her mother explains this all in another video. This child may think that everyone can do this, and will understand this in a few years. When I went to school I learned how to read at 6, in 1962 that's how people treated their children. Children in the 60's were harshly treated if they upstaged their parents, with their abilities, so that was the common age for reading, now it's any age, or sometimes a parent would hold a child back from learning..... but these days a child is ready to read they want to read So let a child read and learn and discover their abilities, it doesn't matter how young the child is when they want to learn how to do something.

@@gracehello_hi1603 Grace, please don't feel ashamed of anything, right now at this moment, in my opinion, I think it is a blessing that you are young, you have your whole life ahead of you, you have your share of talents to share with people that your close to. Just think, like your brother that has ADHD, he was built that way, other people are built in other ways, some people are built like that little polyglot (genius in many languages) girl. She was born that way, and no one can explain why they are that way. It's not a problem, and it shouldn't be criticized, if anything these people are blessed from God with a talent. And I'm sure you have a talent to be discovered too. Grace, you're a wonderful girl and you have no reason to feel ashamed or sad.... If you have tears, please remove them, and replace them with a smile, if you have sadness, remove that and replace it with joy. Take Care my dear.

In a childhood we played back the Russian record on the player for fun, and it sounded like Arabic. I watched a video of a professor of linguist who also drew attention to this oddity. In addition, many Arabic words read backwards make sense in Russian. For example, the word "Quran" is inverted the old-Russian word "narok" - which means "set of rules and laws" - some message or testament that the ruler leaves to the people after his life, or an elder or father to his son..

Her mother said that she doesn't mix up the languages, if they are speaking in English they will use that language all day. On another day it could be French, but the languages are never used together in one topic. Also the child is in school, and will most likely have already completed a 6 or 7th grade reading level in her country's language already, and yet she's only 6. No need to worry, both mom and daughter have the languages all sorted out.

I know a girl from India whose childhood was spent in Norway (for her father's transferable job there), learnt 8 languages from her school classmates (fluent enough). At that time there was no social media to let the whole world know about it. But in her later life she became interested in Science and now she is a Computer software engineer.

I speak 7 languages fluently and it all comes at a price. cue: I'm neurodiverse. I was born like this, and so was she. in Russia many mothers become obsessed about honing their child's genius. I am not sure Bella's Mum is doing her a favour though. a balanced life and development are crucial at this age.

@@somayab3380 adhd is often comorbid, especially in girls. did you know that autism in girls has different symptoms? she's hyperverbal, she's rockinG, she's parroting, she's not making a lot of eye contact. ofc she's gifted, she's such a lovely girl. but she shouldn't be showcased like a puppy and her neurodiverse brain is no merit of her mum. it happens in nature, many autistic girls have high verbal IQ. a diagnosis is nothing to fear if you accept yourself. it's worse to go through life undiagnosed, without knowing why you are like this, and at some point break down when you realise that languages and 'genius' are all what is left of your identity, and that it is simply not enough to guarantee plain sailing in life.

I am sorry ,I have been following Bella for two years and I see that Bella might have some behavior problems . I do not suggest you to do so with your future children . I am a mother of 4 , and a teacher , Bella is adorable but her behavior is not mature enough for her age. It looks glamor on television , there are much important things then knowing 8 lenguages at the age of six .

@@nachemsmarya5771 Well, as I am majoring in child behavioral psychology and have nine younger siblings, I am familiar with child training and definitely plan to teach my children respect and maturity as well as foreign languages. I haven't noticed any abnormal or immature behaviors in Bella, but if there are, it probably stems more from the fact that she is an only child who has the constant attention of her mother and teachers. Most six year olds are immature and that is no reason not to give them the gift of language.

@@reginaworthey1401 Actually, she had 7 language teachers from young age who trained with her at least once a week (even 8 if you include her mother which is, if I recall correctly, a language teacher for English). Who can afford this? It is sad that she is an only child. I think it is better not to be famous or "gifted" or whatever but to live in a big happy family with siblings.
