Great tips! Here in the UK no one had air conditioning a couple of decades ago. Now it's so hot that people are getting it installed - as we did after last summer. It's a very cost-efficient system, thankfully, and costs less than all the fans we had on. As for side hustles - I still manage to get my poems and stories published in literary magazines for money, and I still enter free prize draws for fun and money. I don't earn a lot - with my disabilities I can't work too much - but it all helps. I recently won the Cheshire Literary Prize and received £200 for it, plus a certificate.

I’ve heard y’all are having record heat waves! Congratulations and Excellent job selling your writing! I feel like artistic writing like yours is becoming a lost art in the younger generation.

Sweetness I'm newly subscribed to your channel my sister gave me a tip that reduced my electric summer bill $50 I take a gallon milk jug or larger if I can find one I fill it with water and freeze it I put it behind my fans in a pie pan for the run off it cools my home I also put it in a box lined in foil so it stays cold longer

Welcome! That is an excellent idea and I may have to steal it for my upstairs. My upstairs in the summer can run in the mid 80s even with the AC on!

I buy whole chickens - or I use to. Now I can’t seem to get my hands on any. As for gas, in my area they offer club cards which links to your account and acts as a debit card but only at that chain of gas stations. I use the same one by my house, and it gives me .05-.10 off a gallon. A programmable thermostat and double pane glass keeps my electric bill for my house around 85 dollars most summer months here in South Georgia - though I need to throw in that my home is 800 sq ft. Your mileage may vary.

Great tips. We are definitely blocking all the windows during the heat of the day... trying to cut back on the AC and electric bill. It seems to make a big difference.

It’s great to see you and you are looking fabulous! With your two disorders could you not receive disability and then you would receive disability on your children as well to help in their WellCare. None of my business but just a thought especially since you are single now. My question, if you don’t mind me asking, what were you talking about besides RA? I am familiar with that as my grandmother had that but the other autoimmune you were describing…..? Thank you and sending Blessings to you/yours! 16:46 ❤❤️❤❤

Hi! I have really thought about disability as there are definitely days and weeks that I can barely function. Anklyosing Spondylitis (AS) is arthritis in your spine, SI joint and other large joints and can cause your spine to fuse.

Another thing to look into is budget billing by your electric company. It helps with the month to month price ups and downs and readjust based on your usage

You are so amazing. Do you ever stock up on water? Can you possibly do some in store grocery shopping videos? I think it would be awesome if you could show how you do your full shopping trip
@LininUpDucks2 жыл бұрын
Awe thank you! Well honestly I avoid the grocery store like the plague. I do pick up orders only bc I have found I stick to my list that way. If I’m in store I always end up spending more than planned on things I “think” I need. I could do a video though on my pantry inventory and app shopping though.

The fuel stations by me allow you to use your debit card and still get the cash price since it’s coming right out of your account so I recommend looking into that first before using cash ☺️
