Драматический романтик - словно герой из античной трагедии Овидия, страдающий мужчина, которому не дают свободно любить избранницу, мешают все и вся - традиции, обстоятельства, соперничество, зависть и враждебная воля людей. Герой, который со всей присущей ему страстью отстаивает свой выбор в любви - против косности, злобы и человеческого неравенства. И вообще, зато он красивый. и гениальный. И Diminuendo у него - лучше всех ) 😊

I never understood why Corelli never sang Alfredo. If Domingo and Pavarotti could sang all the roles Corelli sang, why Corelli couldn't sing Alfredo? Can you imagine the performance of la Traviata with Callas, Corelli, Bastianini and Serafin or Votto conducting?

@@judithbereczky4114 But we already have Pippo di Stefano. Di Stefano’s Alfredo is absolutely perfect, and that’s probably why Corelli didn’t try it.

@@BaroneVitellioScarpia1 I understand, but Di Stefano is absolutely perfect in Lucia, too and Corelli sang it (only one and a half time, unfortunately), and we are very happy for it. I can imagine how Corelli would have been handsome, elegant, charming and tender as Alfredo. No one like him (just like our Maria Callas for you). It is beautiful to have dreams, even in old age.
