keep in mind irl a rupee is a stand in for emeralds and one of the size we see in the standard rupee would be abpout $50-$100 or more depending on quality so 80 of them would be well over what THIS irl shield is worth. you may be able to buy a car with that.

To the common Farmer, 80 rupees would be more than a years savings! Historically, knights were required to purchase their own weapons and that was a lot of why peasants were so helpless. They simply couldn't afford weapons! This just shows that weapons should be wielded with honor, so as to honor the smiths.

That comment at the end about the shield looking like it would be used in medieval times is an understatement. A shield that well made back then would be regarded only for use by members of royal families. Most likely it wouldn't even be used for combat. Rather it would probably be kept in a palace as a symbol.

They used amber for the Triforce!! AHH!! And little tidbit here. In Lithuania, where amber is looked very highly upon, that type of amber is called "King's Amber." Only royal owned it for it was the most expensive. I don't know if they knew that but it was a great choice!

I rather much prefer the arms you build like this one that are actually practical to use in combat since it lets you get all of the details down without having to making compromises, as opposed to weapons like the Buster Sword and Tessaiga. If it was Medigoron's work, sure - his Giant's Knifes break if you hit something they can't cut - but Biggoron says that the broken hilt you bring him "is clearly my worrrrrrrrrk". SO, even the Biggoron Sword he crafts for you can plausibly break; unless he pulled out all the stops and made one to the best of his ability only for you for getting him eyedrops - maybe he's a bit lazy otherwise lol

Zachary Bedassie I agree... Excalibur is basically just a longsword with an ornate hilt, Aestus Estus (Saber Extra's sword) has an interesting unique shape to it.

Lauri Lehto So what is it isn't as complex as some of the swords they made? Inuyasha's Tessaiga, Auron's Katana, and the Guts Dragonslayer sword are all fairly simply compared to some of their other builds too. Just because its isn't as complex as some builds doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool for them to make.

Brandon Brown Since it's stone though they can only hollow it out so much before it becomes weak. Regardless, it's still a big-ass hammer so it would basically be unwieldy to all of those guys if they used the correct materials. Chris Montgomery well, the Nintendo CEO said "the article is not based on correct information". That is not saying that its not happening, only that the information was not correct. He worded it in that way on purpose, rather than saying outright that the series was just a rumor. And Nintendo is never bound by their word. In the past they denied the prospect of releasing a new DS with a larger screen, and within a few months released the XL, so take what was said with a grain of salt.

Hmmm sounds like to me double talk. Like this is something that is being tossed around in the office as pure chance. The other reason I think this is still a CHANCE, is that not only has Nintendo refused the idea all together, but NETFLIX refuses to make ANY Comment. As if they did not know about it (or did) and do not wish to chance loosing the bid on showing this series. which in my opinion would be VERY Lucrative for NETFLIX. Just My thoughts on the matter. Either way we will not see anything finished in at least another 2-3 years unfortunately. Unless they rush it and then it will just look and feel like crap.
