this takes me back to being a good ole West Columbia kid in SC. My Granny would grow collards and all the other veggies in her garden and 30 of us would pack ourselves into her single wide trailer and eat and have a grand ole time. Miss the old days like that. and same on christmas eve. always a ton of country foods. And gosh the Rodeos. I remember they would have them less than a mile from the house and we could go out on the porch and listen to the rodeo goin on. Thanks for the throwback. So I just realized who Charles resembles... Getting a tattoo is huge. That big dummy is only 18 years old and I can honestly say that after getting 15 tattoos, you will not agree with most of them. I was beyond stupid and should have been 45 before contemplating the idea of one. I would never have gotten one.

Just like clothes, some tattoos go out of style too. Tribal, micro, what have you. Having someone else pick your tattoo is playing with more fire than you realize. Take Mr. Neal's advice. He knows they're a sin as well.

@@faegrrrlI appreciate your concern, but really i’m fine. I failed to mention in my email that it won’t be my first tattoo. I also failed to clarify that I was more so asking for a design, not placement. In my next email I will specify that I want it in a place that is coverable. The tattoo itself serves as a connection between me and good mythical morning as a whole. I have been watching for more than half my life. I met my lifelong best friend through our shared interest in GMM. I’ve been to their live shows. This is not some impulsive decision. I know it’s permanent, but because they are picking it, I will never forget the impact they have had on my life.

And the ones who are too afraid to look like a sissy if they admit regret say, "Nah man, I'm glad I got em." I just want you to do the right thing in life. We all get excited and get really ready to do something that seems big. We don't have to follow through. It's your choice. It's your beautiful skin.

@@faegrrrl I appreciate your concern, I don’t see it as you trying to parent me or anything I get that you are just trying to help me make the right decision and really think about it. I have been thinking about it for quite some time, I just never had the right idea for how to execute this connection until now. I know I don’t have to actually follow through with it, and I won’t if they tell me to get a penis on my face or something, but I am confident they won’t make a joke out of this. Link has a full sleeve with meaning to him, he gets that this is important. Charles has no tattoos so he is more hesitant to allow a joke to be the decision. I have never been one to care what other people think about me, and I know what the tattoo means to me so I don’t think I will end up regretting it. In my next email i’m going to specify that I want it to be easily coverable with a tee shirt and shorts so it’s fine. I have made bad decisions but I have never been one to dwell on them and regret my decisions. I believe that every decision you make changes who you are and I like me. Again I appreciate your concern but I am going to do this.
