@@EatAPeach72...There were some mistakes and omissions in that movie...Elvis' great-great-great grandmother on his mother's side was full-blooded Cherokee. In two of his films, 'Flaming Star' and 'Stay Away Joe', he played indigenous characters. Some of the biggest names in Country music had/have indigenous ancestry...Spade Cooley(Western Swing star), Hank Williams(he was inducted into the Native American Hall of Fame as was Jimi Hendrix), Roy Rogers, Kitty Wells, Loretta Lynn, Crystal Gale, Willie Nelson, Marty Stuart, and Carrie Underwood.

@TenaciousTheSketcher2 жыл бұрын
Not really. I think it was more of a look that let the bassist know the next part of the song is coming so a change is coming up. A lot of musicians do it for live shows. Well the good ones that don't pre-record everything. It's how they let the band know the next measure is coming up when ever it gets crazy like this.

When I was an impressionable teenager back in the early 60s, Link Wray was THE hottest, THE coolest, THE toughest, THE most dangerous, THE cutest, THE meanest, THE scariest guitarist I’d EVER heard. I still have my 45 of “Jack the Ripper.” What a totally bad influence he was and his music brought out the worst in me, it was so thrilling! It’s the Indian way of damning our souls to hell, perhaps….
