The reason the Samurai / Super Samurai and Megaforce / Super Megaforce series are bad is because of the lazyness of Jonathan Zhachor and his production crew. I thought since Zhachor worked on the Power Rangers since Mighty Morphin to Wild Force he would know that the anniversary was important. But I was wrong, it turns out that Zhachor is a Super Sentai fanboy and would stick to the Sentai plots than make original stuff. And the reason why Samurai was bad was because Zhachor thought Shinkenger was good and shouldn't be changed too much and that caused production to fall behind schedule. The writing staff cared about the show and wanted it to be good but Zhachor kept on shutting them down. One of the reasons Zhachor rejected the ideas was that some of them were "too boring". I call that a lazy excuse. One of the ideas for Megaforce? Example: Troy was supposed to be some kind of "Chosen One" where he would be plugged into the morphing grid somehow. Even some of the actors hated working on the show and wanted to do more than just fight scenes. And Linkara actually found out about the behind the scenes meddling after he posted the Megaforce videos. Yeah this is the season that really hit me on the head and throughout the season of Power Rangers Megaforce and Super Megaforce the Rangers keep on wearing the exact same fucking clothes from the beginning of their series I mean why? Why are they keep wearing their exact same clothes from the beginning of the first episode? Should they have new clothes for every episode they decide to keep the Rangers wearing the exact same damn clothes every single episode.

In my opinion, Super Megaforce (and to a certain extent Megaforce itself), is WORSE than Operation Overdrive. I watched both seasons when they first aired and while Overdrive is just bad, Super Megaforce is INSUFFERABLE. To me, Super Megaforce, with its terrible and questionable decisions regarding the Legendary Battle, the rangers' powers and everything that happened behind the scenes, just spat all over the franchise with no explanation, laziness and poor handling. Blame Saban, Nickelodeon and then-show-runner Jonathan Tzachor for the show's failure. God help you when you watch Super Megaforce (and the review of Ninja Steel/Super Ninja Steel, although I think that season was bad, it was nowhere near as bad as Super Megaforce)

If it was up to me, I would have made Robo Knight Gosei's true form or make a body for him to use to be out in the field to help the Rangers at least to give him something relevant to do and also give a bit of backstory for how Zordon trained him and did he ever discover how Zordon died and other stuff, so simple to do. Remember it's not the characters fault its the writers fault.
