I can understand Ricardo Medina for using a samurai sword to defend himself. I have an uncle that collected samurai swords, and during a fight between two of my uncles versus their stepdad, the stepdad tried to choke out my other uncle, and my uncle with a samurai sword hit him on the head to stop him. He had the sword sheathed, so he intended on clubbing him with it, but while he was swinging it mid-air, the sheath flew off and he ended up leaving a small cut in his head. Nobody got seriously injured. My uncle did serve some time, but got released when the court saw it as he was defending his brother and never intended to kill the stepdad because he approached him with the sword sheathed. Their stepdad ended up divorcing their mom (my grandma) and I haven't seen him since. I only remember that he was an asshole to everybody, so I'm not that upset that my uncle felt he needed to use a weapon to stop him.

The ranger who killed a guy with a sword in real life, it was the red ranger from the 10th season, Wild Force. I don't the exact details, but he had a fight with his roommate and it escalated to him killing the roommate with a sword. I don't know if it was self-defense or not, but the charge was lowered to manslaughter. He plead guilty to voluntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 6 years. The name of the actor is Ricardo Medina Jr. if you want to find out more. In terms of the question of Tommy being a red ranger, after Mighty Morphin ended after season 3, they changed the costumes to Zeo so they can start using Japanese footage again. Tommy, who was the leader of the Power Rangers at the time, naturally became the Red Zeo Ranger as red is typically the leader in Power Rangers. Tommy also became the red ranger in Turbo, the fifth season, and returned in the 12th season, Dino Thunder, as the mentor and black ranger. As it comes to what Linkara mean the "Green Ranger died." It wasn't a real life death he's referring to, but the Green Ranger in the Japanese version died in the show, whereas Tommy just lost his powers.

The red ranger from Power Rangers wild force. his roommate was tripping balls on drugs and decided to attack him and his girlfriend in self-defence the red ranger stabbed and killed his roommate. then one random background extra from one random episode went nuts and killed an elderly couple then tried to cut his you know off in jail. There is all the worst things in power rangers you are welcome. I have done to much research on weird power rangers facts.
