The 'naughty list' in this review really ticks me off, probably in part because of bad timing. Carol Kalish was a lovely woman who worked for Marvel's Direct Sales and Product Development departments, was married to Richard Howell, and just happened to DIE a few months before this book came out. I put this down, not to mean-spiritedness, but simply to production lead time. On the other hand, while I understand a lot of people don't like Jim Shooter's editorial behavior, I have had the pleasure of meeting him multiple times, and he's always treated me with a great deal of kindness and respect. Maybe it's just an example of why we shouldn't use real people's names on things like this, and a great example of why changing your tune (so to speak) was a good idea.

Going north of the North Pole isn't all that hard because there are three North Poles on Earth: Geographic, Magnetic, and Geomagnetic. If you reach one the others can be further north depending on how you look at it.
