According to Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Scarlet Scarab is the Earth-3 counterpart to the Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle.

This a call back to the Scarlet Scarab originally created in THE INVADERS by Roy Thomas, and knowing Thomas... yup, it's a Blue Beetle reference.

y'know, for what are supposed to be "decayed bandages", they're pretty high quality, bullets, high wind, lava, water, nothing tears them down, and they seem to regenerate, whoever made them needs a raise.

I have little doubt that were this in the Fallout Universe, those bandages would be the blueprint for the Railroad's Ballistic Weave. It's just that good.

I think it's implied that that the Elementals kidnapped him at just the right time. The same thing happened to the BIg G during Marvel's GODZILLA series at one point.

So when are we going to get Moarte and Linkara arguing over mummies and "ANCIENT EGYPT!"? Also, given not only the change in lore for the Blue Beetle Scarab, but things like the space mummy from Buzz Lightyear, Mumm-ra, and the Necrons... mummies and space are kind of approaching a cliche. A trope at least.

Yeah, all of Marvel's supernatural characters will die or become human again at some point, but inevitably return to their necrothrophic state once some writer gets a good idea for them.

I had an issue of Marvel Two and One with the Living Mummy and The Thing. The Sphinx needed a consort for some reason, and was looking to reconstruct a gem, so he builds a machine to reconstruct it, and kidnaps Alicia Masters to be his consort. This leads The Thing to travel to Egypt to find Alicia, and N'Kantu does something to sabotage the machine, foiling The Sphinx and freeing Alicia. For some reason, the Sphinx felt the need to dress Alicia in a Valkyrie style metal bra and a barely there loincloth....

They could be if they chose to go that route but until Blade debuts I dont expect too big a deep dive into the Horror side as they already sent Hellstrom and Ghost Rider off to Hulu (well until GR got dropped)

Marvel does have a character named Captain Fate. He was a vampire space-pirate (using an old-fashioned pirate ship enchanted to pull off FTL space travel).
