The thinking man's logic reminds me of a german fairy tale called "little zaches". It beginns in a land full of fairys and wonder and the new adviser of the king wants him to bring the enlightenment to the kingdom. So they deport all of the fairys to there homecountry, because the enlightenment is all about logic so the fairys had to go.

This plotline has so many bizarre twists and turns that it feels like Grant Morrison read that and said "You know what? Final Crisis needs to be more coherent than this."
