Thank you. Yours is an accurate evocation of the soul sucking nature of LinkedIn and work. It all came to me a few years back after a colleague killed himself - he was a kind and creative young man, the kind of colleague I actually wanted to get to know. His passing was "celebrated" in an email and then nothing. It is then I realized that work is hell, and LinkedIn is hells' marketing department.
