I’m a mess right now as they sing In The End. So moving to hear the crowd. The manner in which Chester left the world, is a subject is near and dear to me . That is because I almost lost my husband to several failed attempts and his son ,who is my stepson succeeded in his attempt 5 years ago. So to lose Chester in such a horrible way really hits hard. But again, hearing the crowd giving their all and singing for him is so moving .

I had to skip past that part the first time I watched this...it was heartbreaking. That's the song that always resonated with me the most. Hit way too close to home for me but really sealed the deal on making me a die hard fan. Such a beautiful song.

Yes I agree it was a great concert , and for me Alanis Morissette was the jewel in the crown but I felt that it was extremely sad that no one can ever match Chester (not even close) and it just made it hard to watch without his incredible powerful voice . The artists that honoured him did a great job and fans should be thankful of that and to be honest I now feel sorry for Mike and the boys and their future with LP without Chester .

Totally agree. The songs didn't mesh well with the other singers no matter how talented they are. Chester was one of a kind and along with his vocals he brought an energy and vibe. Sad to say without him Linkin Park are shadow of their former selves. Not being rude but they should just pack it in and go their separate ways after this. Respect to the band for the concept behind it though.

He was up there, leading this memorial with a strength I will never know. I cried all night in my hotel room, I cried my entire flight back to Utah where I live. He was there, having personally known Chester, not crying. Just there. Helping us all get through this tidal wave of emotions. I have never met you Mike Shinoda, but you are my brother.

Mad props to Mike obviously but let's not forget it would've been equally difficult for Brad, Rob, Joe and Dave too. Listening to this 3 years later I'm still finding it difficult, I can't imagine what those guys would've gone through.

Chill.... You're supposed to be strong and emotions are okay, but when it's to this extent, there is clearly more emotion than feeling. There are fundamental things you have to build up and that's what anyone, especially Linkin Park for their fans, would want- The development, strength, and growth of their fans. That doesn't mean you can't cry. But watch yourself and really do some self-introspection. Unfortunately, most fans of anything, be it a song, a TV show, or a movie, don't really carry the intellect or the deep consciousness to truly appreciate something. Don't be that. Don't be just raw emotion. Be a mind over emotion.

Did everyone notice how the audience is mostly young adults? Mainly from the 20-30 range? These guys inspired our childhood. They held our hands during our teenage years. For some reason it feels both really bad and great growing up and doing this. Sweet dreams Chester. We'll keep going on.

45 year old man here, and his death hit me harder than any other. His music resonated with me back when they first came out in the early 2000's (my late 20's). His vocals blew me away, the music was absolutely brilliant, and will be for a very long time. These songs, his voice, the music, will be with me until I die, and the thought that I will never hear his voice again is sad in and of itself.

Chris Melton well everyone reacts differently to this and some of these people might have no real emotional connection to the band, chester or can't comprehending a loss of great talent in general. But this lacking of an emotional bond is not the band's fault (the concert was great) and shouldn't be our concern. =)

Same. When I was watching the stream that night, I immediately started crying when I heard the music starting for One More Light and whispered "Oh no" to myself. The song itself is emotional enough, it makes me cry just hearing it but knowing Mike was gonna sing it just tore straight through my heart. Chester originally dedicated the song to Chris his best friend now Mike is dedicating it to Chester...his best friend. It rips your heart to shreds.

Holy crap yes, don't get me wrong, they're all great artists but doing a comparison of them to Chester's singing ability there's no contest. Chester always hit it out of the park and had THE most incredible singing voices in rock that I have ever heard. The way he belts out his notes is astonishing and can't be touched in my opinion. When he screamed it was even better. He in my opinion had the best scream I have ever heard. It gave me goosebumps every time. I hope he is resting easy

I cried and I’m 66 years old. My daughter who passed in 2006 always wanted to take me to a Linkln Park concert. We never seemed to make the time. Now she’s gone. Then my second oldest daughter said the same thing. So some 20 years later, she got us tickets. Then Chester passed. I wish I would have made time when my first daughter asked. Good Bye Chester. I never got to see you and the band but you touched our hearts. All of us.

Thats why they didn't play this with only one guest singer. And how great was this! Amazing artists, amazing crowd, to tribute an amazing person. In my eyes, Chester was one of the best singers of all time, because he was great in so many genre. Chester we love you!

My husbands birthday is also March 20. And I nearly lost him twice due to two failed attempts as well as making a threat many years after the actual attempts. So this hits me on a deeper level. Not realizing how much people are hurting, and how hard they fight to keep a smile on their faces so that we can’t see the pain behind the smile … I’ve always been saddened by the loss of Chester , but the “reunion “ reawakened something in me and a lot of emotions flooded my heart/mind. I too suffer from depression, ptsd and severe anxiety/panic attacks . And I also happen to be celebrating 9 years clean next week. We need to stop judging people for how they feel , or the mistakes they’ve made. Those judgments are often what keep people from seeking the help they need . No one is saying you have to understand. But a little compassion goes a long way. Sorry to go on and on, but every time I watch this I become emotional.
