@@EJayV72 Chester was very reserved during the rehearsals and the recording of the songs so when Jay-Z heard him screaming on stage that was the first time he heard that. You can actually watch the whole video which is put on the DVD with the CD in the deluxe version. On KZbin if you put Linkin Park Collision Course in the search bar it will come up as the second or third item in the list.

@@tongbb3 I absolutely love this don’t get me wrong. The only reasons in my opinion the collaboration in judgment night is better is 1 linkin park is already a mix of rap and rock by themselves. When you take bio-hazard and onyx they couldn’t be more far apart from each other in genres lol. And I’m judgement night the artist got together and created new music. Where as collision corse is just them doing each other’s song together. But there is no right or wrong in this. It’s all great

Entire album is legit. Y’all need to do the entire thingggg! And the documentary they did when they created the album; if for nothing else then to watch how hard they all work to make sure it’s perfect. I was in college when this came out and it was pivotal. Jigga What is one of my favorite JZ songs and they did it with Faint (one of my favorite LP songs) it was such a good time for music in general. These people at the concert was like 290 people (edited; typossss), all hand invited by LP. LP had a fan club called the underground (subscription to early tickets, VIP, meet and greet) and they took a poll on what rapper is their favorite. The ones who voted for JZ were prioritized and then offered tickets (to buy, they weren’t dumb--but so so so worth it) to the rest.

I will probably disagree with you on that one but I got it up there between these two. Go type in Chester Bennington, Chris Cornell and Avicii death similarities and connections on KZbin or Google. Crazy when we talk about the Chris Cornell investigation and the time it took the cops to get there after they were notified by bodyguard and wife. She suing the doctor that did the autopsy. It's just plain out Shady because there were shops of Blood on the bathtub and sink but there was not one drop of blood on Chris body. They try to re-enact this entire hanging himself by one of these exercises drafted first off I didn't have enough to hold a man's body up in the first place. I don't know man just go type those things in and do your dick and see what's up on your point of view. I'm not a wacky conspiracy theories because I want a little bit conspiracy fact and evidence. Check out what these three guys had in common and connection the last years of their life, and I don't mean drugs. Is something much more dangerous and drugs if they all had in common

It was MTV! MTV asked Jay-Z who in the rock world he wanted to work with and he picked Linkin Park. Linkin Park said yes and Mike Shinoda got to work on it in their tour bus right away. Small Club gigs for Rock and Metal are the best ones, There is something about a 100-400 capacity venue, packed out just going off, low ceiling quite dark, thats Metal and Rock at it's purest direct and engaging form. More intimate than a stadium. I also really like Hip Hop , DnB , DubStep and Grime shows of a similar size, they all benefit from that small dark club vibe. The energy in these kinds of places can be in a way more overwhelming than a stadium/Festival with 1k plus it becomes a scale thing and less direct for the fans and performers. The best shows I have ever been to have been underground Rock, Metal and Punk shows between 70 and 400 capacity venues. If we are talking energy they beat any other type of live show for energy. Best show I ever played was about 200-300 capacity in Glasgow UK at a place called the Cat House (circa 01 not sure if its still there) but what a venue, what a crowd, what a sound (out front and on stage) and their in house crew was the most professional I had ever worked with. Low ceiling. 2 guitars either side of bass drums and vox so I was on one side and the sides were kind of caged so it felt a bit like that scene from the Blues Brothers lmao
@lavenderllamamusic
@lavenderllamamusic 3 жыл бұрын
totally agree on the venue size! i'm still new to shows, currently 24 and trying to attend more, but so far, small punk shows have been the best vibe yet. Pure energy, just singing along to every word and jamming out with the band. I definitely prefer those intimate venues for that same reason. Whether it's rock or electronic

This was from MTV Collision Course album of Jay-Z/Linkin Park. They took a bunch of their songs, that fit seemingly perfectly, into one album. The reason this isn't in a stadium, where both these artists sell out, is because it was recorded in a place they used for MTV studios.

They mentioned in the making-of how LP surveyed the fan club who else they're listening too and invited ppl how named Jay Z. I can only imagine how hype the crowd really was
