There are lots of songs that Chester didn't contribute to at all while Mike had a hand in all of them. Chester definitely didn't write Mike's rap parts. I would say people underappreciate Mike. Anyone who watched the dvd about the collab with Jay also saw that Mike was the creative mastermind behind that one too.

What was so cool about the whole project was that it wasn’t the usual mashup that people will do where it’s throw lyrics on a different beat. They actually worked on the project like an album. Jay z even decided to re-record his lyrics to match the beats. You don’t see that often at all nowadays

I was fortunate enough to see LP early on in their career when they were touring the Hybrid Theory album. They were part of a festival line-up, and going in I thought they were just another flash in the pan, nu-metal band. How wrong I was. Man LP was my go to, I could just sit there and listen for hours, after I attempted back in 2015 when I felt like I hit rock bottom, I couldn't follow through due to guilt, I just listened to LP to calm myself down, I decided to go back to college and do something with my life.
