@@claytheist6736 That's not true. If anyone was the ''main'' anything of the band it was Mike who is definitely the brain of the band and the main composer. There are lots of songs that Chester didn't contribute to at all while Mike had a hand in all of them. Chester definitely didn't write Mike's rap parts. I would say people underappreciate Mike. Anyone who watched the dvd about the collab with Jay also saw that Mike was the creative mastermind behind that one too.

I love the shot of Jay Z surveying the crowd, smiling and nodding his head along. The satisfaction of seeing what this collaboration does to people. I was fortunate enough to see LP early on in their career when they were touring the Hybrid Theory album. They were part of a festival line-up, and going in I thought they were just another flash in the pan, nu-metal band. How wrong I was. Their live sound and energy was so crisp they immediately won me over. Truly talented.

@@chickychang1 hunting party was a great album. You had all their influences on one album from page from helmet to Rakim damn. If anything you just don't listen. Have ears to listen to new stuff. I even liked one more light TBH. So if your a die hard fan then you need broaden your musical landscape. I know I have and I loved it when they went pop Heavy is my shit

clemente villescas I love and listen to any type of genre from rap , country , rock etc etc and I just didn’t like that album. A thousand suns was ok and that was different than what lp did before that.

We see alot of collaborations these days between musicians of all stripes/genres/abilities but nothing will ever have the feeling of authenticity and respect than when these guys hooked up to make the Collision Course E.P. They were both equally at the top of their respective games and opened up so many peoples minds to the idea that different genres could co-exist in the same space.
