I like that Colin was the one playing acoustic guitar and also joining in on backing vocals in the chorus, Rob never did anything like that live but I guess that's what you get when you bring in someone else who has both experience in production for other bands and the ability to play multiple instruments like Colin. I can tell he's gonna be a huge asset to their live shows just from this, so it's nice to see

Was gonna say the same thing. Colin's addition goes under the radar since everyone is so focused on Emily, but if these first two shows are anything to go by, Linkin Park got on board someone who's way more than just a drummer. And even in terms of drumming, I really enjoy what he's brought to the table so far, KTTK was very nicely spiced up with new fills. Man's doing a fantastic job.

Mike seems to be really close to Colin based on his discord messages, they are working very closely together on production as well. He says Colin can play guitar just as well as the drums. Emily can also play guitar, really interested to see what this opens up to in the future.

@@SaberOW Chester also played guitar, but only on select few songs (namely Iridescent and, iirc, Nobody Can Save Me), so there's probably no need to have Emily do that. They probably want her to be able to move around the stage without the guitar tying her down to the mic stand. But who really knows, it's not like LP can ever surprise anyone with something, right? 🤣
