Yaknow, as a teen I studied this video for hours watching the reflections so I could copy the keys as I cant read sheet music but I can use my OCD to develop muscle memory very well. I got the beginning down but you know how life goes. I think I was being a little shit and was homeless for a while a bit after so... no piano for a bit. lol. Just thought of this cover again today almost 10 years later or something. Always a fan of a passionately done piece. Makes me wanna take another go at er... Much love

@@giuseppe2716 I haven't had my own place to put my piano since making that comment. But I've sat down at my friend's house and played around a bit. It is still a goal of mine to one day have this down pat. I know it's been 3 years but I haven't given up on the goal yet. Hopefully next year I'll be able to go back at it. And these comments are an awesome reminder :) I miss having the time and discipline to play piano.

On piano, the intro to this song sounds like the intro from Hymn for the Missing XD Or perhaps it's the other way around, since this song came first. That's probably because they're in the same key(Sorry for knowing about music. I'm too young to know this crap XD) And, I can't stop listening to this. It's amazing! Quite nice, though I've noticed an extensive use of the soft pedal in the quieter parts of the song. Might be an indication of a bad technique of playing softer melodies with the hands. Of course I dont intend to bash your performance, just an observation.
