I don’t know what you’re talking about this song not being a bop. This is an epic bop, especially live. This whole album is my jam. This, for me, is peak Linkin Park. The weirder they are, the more I love them.

This whole album was very different to what you would expect from LP it's very experimental in terms of sound of the music.

This is from their 4th album "A thousand suns" which is really experimental and weird, so it usually takes a couple of listens to start appreciating the songs, so if you actually enjoyed it the first time you'll love the album

You will notice that in and from A Thousand Suns album, Mike started singing more and even took leads. He always had a great voice which was hidden because the record was adamant to let the 'rapper guy' sing. He also sings in all choruses with Chester like Numb, New Divide, What I've Done, Burn it Down etc. but since the focus is on our frontman, our emcee is ignored . I'm glad the band stuck together and finally brought Mike's singer side forward as well ❤️❤️😊

Linkin Park caught a lot of flak from the metal fanbase because they switched genres. This song is basically a fuck you to those people ( Even a blueprint's a gift and a curse, cause once you got the theory of how the thing works everyone just wants the next thing to be just like the first" People wanted LP to keep making nu metal stuff like Hybrid Theory and Meteora, but they made their own path (when they come for me, i'll be gone)

The songs on A Thousand Suns are really weird, but really cool. It's a concept album so, If you're able to, its best to listen to the album in its entirety all in one sitting.

When they come for me »pays homage to Public Enemy in the phrase« Chuck said that uzi weigh a motherfuckin 'ton »in which she refers to the song« Miuzi Weighs a Ton ». "When They Come for Me" also refers to the seventh studio album by rapper Jay-Z called The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse, the band had already worked with Jay-Z on their 2004 EP called Collision Course.

@@theflex9956 "even a blueprint is a gift and a curse" references the Jay Z album. The entire beginning of the second verse shouts out 4 rappers and their lyrics. Lauryn Hill, Big, Big Daddy Kane, Chuck D

well i dont think you should be upset about that because A: it was the first time listening to the song and sometimes reactors miss things and if you dont like that its your choice to watch and B: i listen to hundreds of rappers and have never heard of any of those 4 you pointed out unless the Big you are referring to is Notorious B.I.G., Anyway thanks for your feedback, peace!
