Still rocking Reanimation in 2017! Such a great album! Man I wish they'd do this to Hunting Party and Minutes to Midnight too. Shinoda and Hahn have got some production skills for real. This song. Hm. My introduction to Reanimation was tainted. Some radio DJ mentioned LP's not caring about making any more money from Hybrid Theory, and with this album as the context, asked snidely if we the audience thinks that's true. I heard/saw "Pts.OF.Athrty" debut on TV, and it was neat, but I was thinking, what do these visuals have to do with much of anything? (That's Mr. Hahn for you, lol.) I don't know, something about it at the time just didn't impress me. Then, some while later, I was in a store and overheard "Enth E Nd" on the overhead speakers; especially since I couldn't hear the verses really, I just had some *serious* disdain for the broken up chorus singing, although I couldn't help but appreciate the third verse distinctly starting, "One thing/I don't know how/It doesn't even matter when you look at it now," toying with the original (not realizing how much the first and second verses did the same thing). Many years later. I heard "Runaway" on the radio and cranked it. Except. No, wait. This wasn't "Runaway." It was fresh, newly rocking in some entirely different way, while obviously being the same song. I solved it. It must be "Rnw@y" - and it practically by its *entire lonesome* convinced me to give Reanimation a full opportunity to be heard. *Ohhhhhhhh wow* what an album I'd been missing out on! Lol! $:^ D Yes, I went out and bought that sucka once I got the next good chance. Hooray for "Rnw@y" changing my mind because "P5hing Me A*wy" and "By_Myslf" are now two of my all time favorite songs. $¦^ )
