Living Things is a very special album for me because its about social interactions. I'm autistic so I often avoid social interactions and because of this I lack human connection with people except for my own family. Sometimes I feel alone and like I have noone, it makes me feel sad and depressed. I would do anything for human connection, sometimes I think if I didn't have autism it would be so much easier. A few nights ago I felt sad and lonely, but I listened to Living Things and felt so much better, especially when Chester said the line 'and if you need a friend, there is always a seat alongside me', what a beautiful line! Listening to linkin park gives me hope in life.
