I remember black skies The lightning all around me I remember each flash As time began to blur Like a startling sign That fate had finally found me And your voice was all I heard That I get what I deserve.... So give me reason To prove me wrong To wash this memory clean Let the floods cross The distance in your eyes Give me reason To fill this hole Connect this space between Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies ¡¡Across this new divide!! There was nothing inside The memories left abandoned There was nowhere to hide The ashes fell like snow And the ground caved in Between where we were standing And your voice was all I heard That I get what I deserve.... So give me reason To prove me wrong To wash this memory clean Let the floods cross The distance in your eyes ¡¡Across this new divide!! In every loss in every lie In every truth that you deny And each regret and each goodbye Was a mistake too great to hide And your voice was all I heard That I get what I deserve So give me reason To prove me wrong To wash this memory clean Let the floods cross The distance in your eyes Give me reason To fill this hole Connect this space between Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies ¡¡Across this new divide!! x3 Best Song.. 👍

After today, Linkin Park won't be the same again. My friend next door kept asking why I was staring at my screen blankly. When I told him what happened, I was told how it's just a band. Then I said how it's not just that. How it is so much more. How I grew up on his music. How I did the countless assignments with his voice blaring through the earphones. How I planned to watch Linkin Park live, just once. And how I won't be able to do so, now. Their music changed and took different shapes and forms, but I loved what they did. I loved the nostalgia associated with their music. I grew up listening to their music. Listening to Chester's voice. From One Step Closer, his first official single for Linkin Park to the last track of One More Light, Sharp Edges. We won't hear Chester's crooning again. Ever. Let that sink in. The guy who sang so many songs which hold a permanent spot in the playlist is gone. From Numb to Breaking The Habit to all the Transformer's tracks. Watching Linkin Park live, watching Chester live, was one of the things I had on my bucket-list, and it makes me sad in the stomach that I won't be able to do it. Ever. I feel robbed of one of the once-in-a-lifetime things. As if someone snatched something from me. I always waited for the credits to roll just to hear that one song by him. No Transformer movie will have his voice. Ever again. Chester, we will miss you. I will miss you. I hope it's peaceful there, wherever that is. Love, One of the millions of Linkin Park fans whose love wasn't enough to make you stay.

Chester Bennington, let your legacy resonate with every new generation and never be forgotten. Linkin Park is still going strong, but you were the pillar that first held the band together. And rest easy in the knowledge that the band you formed still thrives beyond the grave. You built something that's meant to last, and you'd be happy to know that fans worldwide are lining up to buy tickets for the From Zero world tour, me included. Linkin Park didn't die with you, buddy. It only rose back from its ashes like a freaking phoenix! So, wherever you are, I hope you know that you made something awesome out of your life, and it's still going on today. Double thumbs up to you, my dude. 👍👍 May you rest in peace.
