Attempting the update with usb and followed all instructions. When i plug in my usb to the unit it shows thats its connected on the top right corner of the screen, but nothing pops up prompting me to do the update. Ive tried with the MCU and CYT with no luck either. When i plug my usb stick back into my computer, i see that my linkswell unit puts files onto the usb?? Any tips?

@@lizcortez3564 what does the file look like on the USB. The name and location matters. Also make sure there aren’t other devices plugged into the radios USB. They can cause issues with data transfers.

@@LinksWellInc its a zipped file named px6. thats the only thing on there. brand new formatted usb. nothing else plugged into any usb port.

@ press the RST on the face of the radio. Then plug it in and try.

@@LinksWellInc i reset the unit and attempted again. the system updater is still not popping up. it's just using the usb to automatically add files like a storage unit
