If you skip anything, it will simply not load areas or play other events necessary to progression, like skipping talking to the Duke before heading to House Beneviento will cause the elevator to the area to keep going up eternally, and collecting every mask in Castle Dimitrescu without killing the daughters freezes the game once you try and trigger the Lady boss fight.

Just luckily, it didnt applied for chasing the player, if chasing the player also used the same behaviour, tracking the x y z position, well the monster will also able to fly when the player flies. But devs avoid that since it will cause buggy for the entire game.

You know, this is low-key remarkable. RE2 and RE3 remakes are *incredibly* well put together from a technical aspect. When you skip triggers, the game largely doesn't chug or crash or even seriously glitch out. It just keeps going, chuggin' along as if you didn't just fuck it's continuity or game logic.

@@slimekp4848 yeah they're both tyrants but they're not the same line just a different genus of the T-virus super tyrant class which is why nemesis and Mr. X really shouldn't be confusing in identity kinda like the Tyrant from RE1 and RE0 and other RE games it was in are different iterations of the genus with their own identities.

Dude, I gotta give the capcom devs credit having birkin stage 3 throw the mini reactor at Leon despite the altitude. That's how you know more and more gamers are becoming devs. They know, bc they've done it with previous games

I'd imagine it's probably not necessarily intentional and instead just the result of the way it is programmed for normal gameplay (it probably specifically targets the player model, and altitude plays no factor)

Yeah, basically it just detect the player x y z position and throw at it. Thats how the normal code. Just luckily, it didnt applied for chasing the player, if chasing the player also used the same behaviour, tracking the x y z position, well the monster will also able to fly when the player flies. But devs avoid that since it will cause buggy for the entire game.
