The reason why you got the bow as the first reward for the clawshot minigame is cause the bow and subsequent quivers are progressive, so you’ll always get the bow before you get the quiver upgrades.

A lot of twilight princess stuff happened, such as Ganondorf bringing Zant back from the dead, the palace of twilight being a whole map, and of course, Midna's return to the story, now even as a playable character. Both her Imp form and Twili form are playable.

When i played it alot years ago i was always trying to give Zelda a realitsticly good shot. Irl it would not make sence to look right at him, becouse you sit in front of Zelda and she cant shoot that way. So i intenionally tried to ride in a 30 to 90 degree angle, when she was ready to shoot, so she would get a good angle to fire.
