Thank you. Great tip on how to determine linoleum vs vinyl weld by pulling it apart. I've been searching for a simple explanation and you nailed it.

It’s one of those things that can save so much time! Like a repair, customer states they have the weld, then you can ask them to do this and see if it’s the right material before you even get there. Glad you liked the video!

O LG We will be doing more. With being full time in the field it’s hard to focus on videos. Thank you for the feedback!

Great video! I like the advise for the super turbo nozzle for rubber and linoleum. Which is your daily tip for vinyl?

Universal for anything that has a urethane wear layer that’s prone to burning.

Hi mate , nice videos I am just wondering what is your utility knife pouch on you and is there any delivery to Australia if you know about it Keep it up 👍

Thank you for the kind words. For my pouch I use www.benojgundlachco.com/catalog/product/701/ . We currently do not ship to Australia, but that is where the STUBBI Rollers are made. Check them out at www.stubbiflooringtools.com

Dumb question from someone who is relatively new in the trade: If your Leister welding gun is a manual (older) version with settings from 0-9 which setting do you have it on that equates 750F?
@PreferredFlooringMI2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the tip and airflow coming out. A Majority of the time it's more of what you feel comfortable at than actual recommended temps. I would start around 4 and work up or down from there.

@@PreferredFlooringMI Great! It's probably the answer I was hoping for 👌. I hover around 3.5 to 4. Two more experienced colleagues advised me to work with 5, but I feel that the weld melts way too fast at 5. Thanks for the reply.
