Linssen 500 Grand Sturdy walkthrough English

In both summer and winter, this ship has always been located indoors in fresh water and has an extremely careful owner. Due to use mainly on inland waterways, no stabilizers have been installed, but preparations have been made. The current (and first) owner has deliberately chosen not to install these because of the vulnerability when sailing on inland waterways and slightly higher fuel consumption.
The wheelhouse underwent a refit in the spring of 2019. The entire instrument panel including all (navigation) instruments has been replaced. Two new Raymarine Axiom chartplotters have been installed with Raymarine's 'ClearCruise augmented reality'. These state-of-the art navigation instruments provide an unprecedented navigation experience. The (insulated) hood of the Linssen Variotop® has also been replaced, as well as the leather of the seats in the wheelhouse and in the salon.
The Diamond Edition was specially built to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Linssen yard. This package includes the extended swimming boards including teak, Diamond color scheme, various detail innovations in the interior with regard to design and choice of materials, wheelhouse fully equipped with cherry wood paneling, extra storage compartment in dashboard, "cabin light" reading lamps in saloon, special versions of the shower compartments, aft deck equipped with U sofa, luxury cushions for deck chests incl. back cushions in artificial leather. Solid teak table with folding part on the aft deck. Tarpaulin in Sunbrella beige, interior headliner Variotop® in beige.

Really beautiful boat. I'd like to make a suggestion and pull back on the camera view a little next time. The view of everything was too close up. Also, the camera was pointed at the speaker for the majority.

You're right, as this boat was used mainly in European inland waters. It belongs to my parents who prefer the inland waterways, they are truly great and this boat is big enough to travel in the highest possible comfort in all seasons, but also not too big with regards to bridges and locks. There are many people using the Linssen Grand Sturdy 500 on more open waters, that works out just fine.

The max height of this yacht is 3,48 meter when in water and vario top has been lowered completely. So you can travel the French water ways without limitations. Very nice.

Beautiful vessel; I am finding that I'm really drawn to the Linssen 590 though. But when I inquired, Linssen said they only make boats in the 30' - 50' range. Any insights into why they no longer make the 590?

Hello sir, I think it has to do with Linssen Yachts focussing on a certain range as the highest demand is in that category. We no longer represent Linssen Yachts so no, I don't have any inside information. What I would suggest is to register a search, with your email address, via www.yachtfocus.com/ As Linssen are Dutch built boats, chances are that if one becomes available, you can find it on this website as it is the leading website in The Netherlands, but also big in Europe.

Dear Mr. Kimani, this boat has been sold in the meantime. We are not a dealer for Linssen Yachts anymore so I'd suggest you contact a local dealer. I would guess that this boat new would now be around € 1.500.000 including VAT in The Netherlands.

If you do have any suggestions however on how we can improve our videos, that would be greatly appreciated.
