off topic question: McAvoy's contract is about to activate it's NMC. We know he makes a lot of money. We know he'd bring back a haul in trade. We know that we've overrated him. Is there and should there be any consideration in trading him? I picture a Beniers/Larsson+ swap or Draisitl straight up (new contract included).

@@bruinsdiehards Well he's second tier league wide offensively, defensively he's second tier on his own team. And this wasn't his first poor playoff performance. and yet he'll get Norris votes every year. I call that overrated. I guess my question won't get any consideration then?

Well, I don't think he is overrated, but I agree that he had a poor performance in some games in the second round.

The Bruins should probably trade Swayman and keep Ullmark. Is Swayman really worth 7 or 8 million per season. The Bruins could get a couple of first rounds for Swayman.
