I'm very happy about that I switched from my G19. At the end of a usage span from over 2 years, I couldn't type on it anymore. It had serious keyshine and the membrane buttons were woren out. It's also bloody hard to clean because of the non-floating key design. At the end I couldn't clean it completely. I've now swtiched from my G19 to a Corsair STRAFE with mx blues. Never have been happier.

Best thing about LCD Screeen in g19: you can use FRAPS and see FPS graphs, also you can observe your PC Temperatures with Core Temp

I realy like the driver software. Got myself a G19, a G13 and a G35 and they're working perfectly together. I can actually steer the G35 headset through my G19 (like bass or the voice changing system). The two LCD's are working together nicely, too.

Had this keyboard for a few months. Would not buy it again. Dislike - No digital clock, very few applets, backlighting is not bright, volume roller is cheap and has no clicks so you cant easily go back to the volume you had before. Would prefer mechanical keys. Otherwise everything works like a normal keyboard. Nothing is great about this keyboard.

I have this keyboard and I highly recommend it. Very sturdy and powerful. LCD screen can display so many amazing things and the extra key sets give you unlimited functionality.

Apparently it's a refresh in the sense of a new manufacturing process using new materials. It's better than TJ07 where they've changed the case over the years without any distinction in model, etc.

I wonder how many people realize that if they have more than one Logitech devices connected to the pc, they can change the active profile for one device, it will change the active profile for all their other Logitech devices as well. This is a features the gaming community have requested from Logitech for years, and was finally implemented last year.

I am still using the blue Logitech G11, they last a LONG time. Also, can you separately adjust the brightness of the LED keys from the LCD Display? Example: set the keys to a high brightness and have the LCD screen at a low brightness when not in use?

Yeah, and I'm providing feedback to the channel. The more comments the more chance they notice. I'm not bashing on them, like you said, he's an intern. I'm just providing feedback, so that they know in case they didn't already notice. I'm not asking them to change it either, just providing feedback. keep in mind they are also doing this outside where the lighting is different than studio, and probably no tripod, and linus is sitting on playground equipment which means its harder to get close to him, and zooming increases shakiness

Linus, if you like rubber coated pads, volume scroll wheels, mechanical keyboards with great build quality, go and do an overview of the Aivia Osmium. After seeing all the reviews, I bought it, and it is fantastic!

I'm still using my G15 keyboard. I've found that the display screen is really more of a novelty. I honestly wish I went for a proper gaming (mechanical) keyboard instead of this over-sized beast. And the keyboard is starting to show it's wear, the some keys I really need to mash in order to get them to work. Although, I am a heavy handed typist so I've hit these keys pretty hard for several years now. But if I went for a mechanical I doubt I would be having problems in the first place.

You should be sure to tell B-roll to actually let you know when he cant see something. As an example we couldnt see the screen when you were using it because of the light in the background, he was also avidly trying to get you in most every screen even though it is a product review

I've still got my G19 alive and kicking. Seriously needed a clean out and lube, and seems to be good to go. It's hard work looking after that earthing lead issue though, which causes a boot loop if it's not perfectly aligned.

Linus I think you forgot to mention that you can add programs to the list of games. You can make a new profile for every .exe file on your computer and a soon as that .exe file launches it will go into that profile.

True, it isn't the best way to give feedback. I don't have the camera-man experience/skills and nor do I care enough to research on good camera work to sit down and type out tips and advice, since I'm not a camera man or otherwise qualified to do so. But I do care enough to quickly and bluntly point out errors. It swiftly gets the message across to the channel. If it sounds rude to you then that's tough shit, I won't lose sleep over it, but the Channel might take onboard the feedback.

Pretty sweet looking keyboard. I'm still using my 2+ year old G15 and the only usefulness I can find with the LCD display is a clock. Given a choice though, I'd get the G710+.

I had the original G19. This new one look like it has added very little to the overall design. I like the coating and softer looking wrist wrest but the screen should be made more useful (touch would be nice) and the back light looks just as Dim as the one was in the original. for the cost of that board get a basic mechanical board. (I have a ducky shine 2 TKL and its wonderful)

Lol I just bought this keyboard today, and even though it has amazing typing comfort, I have to say that the support that Logitech has for it is amazingly shit. I can literally find almost no apps for it...and the YT function doesn't work under Windows 10.

Unfortunately I have to agree. I have had mine for years now, and I am happy I speak several other languages, because the best support I have found for it is on German forums with Aida64. There is literally thousands applets, scripts and profiles in German. Even here on KZbin it is slacking. :(

I'm a G15 app developer and I got 3 G19s from a local store and every single one had an issue with specific keyboard keys. Quickly tapping e.g. WWW would not register the individual presses, it would think I held the buttons down and delay the reads etc... I returned them all and unfortunately that's why I can't develop G19 apps.

I agree. I'm a long time user of a gen 2 G15 and a G13 and I never really look at the screen. I just put it on system monitor and leave it. The increased functionality of the G19's screen is mildly interesting but not for the price.

The point is that you need to spend some time learning to get better at what you do, and until then Linus's videos unfortunately suffer since we've gotten used to the excellent camera work of previous cameramen. I'm sure you'll get there one day though!

That isn't the reason. USB shares its power from the hub. So the hub of ports on the MB all share the same power output. Putting more things on it means your splitting the power more between the devices. Which is why adding an outside power source is the way to go.

In my opinion, I'm not justifying myself spending a lot of money for a mechanical keyboard. I've tried a mechanical keyboard at Best Buy, and since then I find it hard to go back to a regular keyboard. And really, 100-200 dollars isn't really a lot, so yes, I can justify spending ~$150 on something I use on a daily basis for anywhere from 4-12 hours a day. It's all preference really, I like how I don't need to push down the key all of the way to trigger it. And it feels more tactile than others.

They are much nicer feeling to type on, Last way longer in terms of durability, and you can actually type on them faster because on some types the key is triggered half way threw the push so if you get used to them you can actually just hit it half way so half the moment.

It depends on the use. The G19 and other similar Logitech G keyboards are for VERY specific users, specifically those who use intensive use of quick access and RTS/MMO gamers. In my opinion, I never liked mechanical keyboards because of their sound and their lack of features other than cherry keys(impractical as to price,but not really a problem for casual PC users and typists though). If you bought the G19 just for typing, you are so wrong

they're STILL using AC adapter?! That was so annoying with my G19. Ended up modding a custom usb cable for the keyboard instead of the adapter. I can hook the 2nd usb into the PC directly or use an ipad usb power brick if I want to save a usb port.

One big question. We all know the Logitech G19 had power issues and over time buttons would stop working the lighting would fade on one side, red would look pink etc. I personally have been through 3 G19 Keyboards in the 1 year warranty i had. It was plugged into a surge protector the whole time. its now outside the warranty and its happened again but to the colour this time again. My mate have been thu 3 boards aswel Do you know if its chips and circuit boards on the New 19s have been fixed?

I'm looking at this with my plain G19 in front of me and I notice only very small differences that don't really justify a sell. And the G19 that I have broke incredibly easily (the light on/off key stopped working after a couple days with no noticable damage) was not worth the money I paid for it! Gonna get a nice mechanical keyboard in future! :)

Probably the most beautiful keyboard design-wise even with cheap plastic material all-over. Looks lovely on my table paired with G502 mouse. With attached palm rest looks even cooler but the practical usage of it is awkward for me. Tactility feel is not as good as on MS Sidewinder X4 but still fair enough and usable. Media controls are cool. I hate mechs so hopefully this one will serve me well for next several years until quality membane/scissor start appearing on the market again.

Mechanical keyboards are much higher quality and are just more satisfying to type on. I also find it easier to type on mechanical and your fingers don't get tired after long periods of typing. A lot of people like mechanical keyboards for the clicking sound that a lot of the key switches have. A mechanical keyboard is worth the money, everyone I know that has switched to one did not regret it.
