I have the Note 20 ultra 5G, and have a 2070 Super in my current rig with intentions to get the 3080. Ngl id rather take the note as its what I'm using ALL day for a majority of content than to take a WAY cheaper phone for the sake of a 3090 when I'm not a huge streamer who needs a million heavy programs open while still needing to run the game at max fidelity.

Inferior software, but Snapdragon 865, MicroSD and Headphone Jack, and support for Wacom AES, meaning that you can buy something like a Bamboo Ink and use it to replace your S Pen (unless you are an artist.)

I actually bought my Note 9 after seeing reviews on note 10. I own sony wh-1000xm3, but I tend to use the cable that these wireless headphones comes with, quite often. if my headphones run out of charge and my phone needs some battery juice, I can still enjoy my stuff I wish to hear , thanks to my litle awesome hero of the day - headphone jack. It's still a deal breaker for me. Although I need better camera now, I love my jack . And crappy processor for UK ? An insult . I love the S pen, but it feels like compromising on too much for it. Samsung upsets me one more time and my next phone is Pixel or something like that . Done with this

For example, I had an LG with 5000mah, but when I switched to my Note20 Ultra I found myself finishing the day with more power. And, with super-fast charging I was quite happy when I forgot to charge it the night before in 43~ minutes it went from 2% to 100%.

Note 20 Ultra is the last Galaxy to offer MST and an SD Card slot, so I got a used one in 2022 June for $740 after taxes, Mystic Black 512GB and I love it, I carry a iPhone 12 Pro Max and the Note now, the Note comes in clutch all the time when I go to Home Depot, USPS or other places where they don’t have NFC, I’m upset that Samsung has dropped MST, they should’ve dropped in in 2030 when more stores have NFC already

Dbrand is amazing. They cost as much as any other case (in my country), but are much better. My first case had a minor production fault, and they immediately sent me a new one. But my country had gotten new customs rules so it could cost me $40 just to get a free replacement. Dbrand said "we dont want to inconvenience you, so if you get a customs invoice we'll just pay it for you". Freaking amazing customer service.

Best case is made by samsung per almost all utube reviewers. It's called the rugged. It looks amazing, has 4 corner raised edges to protect the screen, rubberized grip, extends slightly over the camera edge to protect the lenses and has 2 , yes 2 kickstands.

@Poopee I take it in the shower to control my music with and use it all the time around snow and rain. Once you know it's waterproof your tend to use it a lot more around water than you'd think you would without it imo. My OnePlus 7 pro hasn't had a single moment I wished it had a real button. When not having a real button meant you had the nav bar at the bottom I was totally with you and kept my note3 etc. Now that the Android swipe is the main way I don't give up part of my screen to nav and I'm good.

My Honor V30 Pro has set me back about $350 USD. 256Gb internal memory, 8Gb RAM, a nice camera and a decent 4.2 A*h battery. I think, it will do the job for the next 5 years or so. But my old Samsung Note3 (SD800) is still working all right.

Traded in my S10+ for the Note20 Ultra, the difference between the 2 is amazing. The edge detection on the Note is far superior and in general the daily use of the Note just feels better, a lot of that may be due to the increase in refresh rate of the screen. The decrease in pen latency is a huge difference as well if that's one of your selling points, obviously not perfect and can't wait for another major improvement, but feels more like a viable tool now. The price is absolutely prohibitive though, but if you have the option to do a trade in, I absolutely would recommend.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a new phone but for 1 I cant get past the headphone jack removal thing everyone but lg is doing and I dont see why we need such a full screen that the bullet punch cameras are necessary the s8 had bezzles just thick enough for a camera and I thought that was perfect.

Reasons why I'm sticking to my note 9 as well: -512gb + sd card capability - headphone jack (useful when I teach several classes via zoom, run out of battery) - fingerprint on the back is always better + iris possibility - oxymeter (very useful during covid pandemic) I might upgrade to the note 10 lite though because my battery is starting to run short and it still has headphone jack at least and is not as expensive.

REAL reason you're sticking to the Note 9: -You don't have enough money All joking aside, people need to let the headphone jack gooooooooo... Use wireless headphones, or if you are in Xande Pope's unique situation, plug in an adaptor to the USB C port and call it a day. Saying the headphone jack is a main reason NOT to get the Note 20 Ultra is absurd. My Note 20 Ultra also has 512gb and SD card expansion (except it is good for 1.5TB instead of 1TB like the 9). Fingerprint scanner on the back was good and bad. I liked that my finger was always sort of nearby the sensor for easy access, but try unlocking your phone when it's laying on a desk. You had to pick it up every time. The Note 20 Ultra doesn't share that problem. Oxygen sensor? Really? If it matters THAAAAAAAAAAT much, you can get a smart watch to track it. Or go to a doctor for the love of Dog. All I'm reading is excuses. Having owned the Note 9 and now the 20 Ultra... Note 9 belongs in the pages of history, not my pocket.

@@Quigomy I respect your view but in my opinion, wireless headphones are just not that convenient. You'd have to charge them and that battery degrades overtime just like on phones. And you can get a better sounding wired headphones for the same price. Dongles just shorten the lifespan of the charging port too. Wired headphones are just straightforward. Apple first created this trend, see the pattern? They make the "problem" then sell the solution. Just don't mind me, I'm just the type of person to get the most out of my money.

Note 9 user myself, was super happy with it but between battery decay and the processor being sluggish (cod mobile annihilates the battery and still gets lag after 20 mins of playing), its time to upgrade. Im eyeing the S21- note 20 ultra is good because of future proofing like Ultra Wide Band, but im in no rush. The S21 will be built on the 5 nanometer processor and thatll give it possibly significant performance gains (note 9 is 9nm, 10 and 20 is 7nm). The fast ram should hopefully be available across all models, too. Ill miss the headphone jack but with wired usb C AKG earbuds I'll be fine

Damn we are on the sane train here. Left my S7 Edge for an A51. Aside from a somewhat inaccurate finger print sensor, I'd say I am pretty happy with it. The battery life is definitely a game changer considering my S7 barely lasted 3-4 hours with a charge, meanwhile I can last a whole day without plugging my A51 once until I go to bed
