Wow, a Linux user explaining the difference between all the Linux distros, in a down to earth way so we mortals can understand it. 😱 Why doesn't that Video have more views?

you should look into nix/nixos, it is the swiss army knife of distros - rolling/stable on different systems in same flake, different architechtures, kernels, distros. big lump of complexity but when you're compiling old programs, weird targets etc .... GOATED

yes manjaro is so stable that the times things went wrong after updating can only be counted on one hand!

What Linux Distro would you recommend to someone who wants to get into Linux and go deeper to learn all that stuff? I would like a distro with KDE and that I don't have to update all too often, but one that gives me full control of my Computer, and doesn't come with a lot of unnecessary stuff? Doesn't matter if it's paid or free.

If you're not afraid of some manual configuration Debian with KDE could be a good choice. The only thing to note is that the software it packages is quite old, but this makes it stable and upgrades happen less frequently. Alternatively something like Fedora or OpenSUSE with KDE could fit your requirements if you want software a bit more new.

@@hoff._world alright, short update: i went with Linux mint. Such a great OS. Easy to install. It has a lot of useful software pre installed and simplifies alot of the processes.
