In Greek mythology, a daemon was considered a supernatural being or power, supposedly doing stuff in the background. The MIT programmers thought demon would be an appropriate name for a background process that worked tirelessly to perform system chores. But instead of using the term demon, they used daemon, which is an older form of the word. And daemon looks better, and thus not scare Christians away!

That is the point of a demon. They exploit the ports, firewall, and services running in your brain! You are surrounded by demons all day long. They are the people who promote fear, uncertainty, and doubt in your life (fud). You think they are family members, friends, and colleagues. They make your system slow down, misfunction, and become stressed. Daemon was very well thought out and named.

there's a noted difference between demon and daemon. daemon being a disembodied voice, demon takes form.

I had an ISP the prohibited you from making any sort of contact and it. Mentioned in the contract things port scanning. I had a few other things that you weren't allowed to do on their network. @david bombal - I am just getting started with this bug hunting, from scratch. Doing okay with nikto, nmap, sqlmap. Recon type things, i can start metasploit and search but not had any luck trying exploits. Also, no idea of what the power shell does vs the normal terminal. And what do the 1-4 things mean next to the terminal options, is it like 4 different machines? I also tried this beef-xss thing, that was just a day of confusion.... Sort of need, "sudo apt install expert hacker knowledge" in my brain.

SDR hacking let's start by combining a RF hack + RTL-SDR + GNU Radio + RPi to create a full duplex mobile hacking tool to learn with. For more advanced hacks you also must learn the power of repeaters then I suggest learning P25 decoding and then satellite uplink and downlink to create a anonymous Wi-Fi hotspot. Learning these things will teach you the basics to get started with advanced SDR hacking... The only limit to SDR hacking is your ability to combine hardware with software.
