You are right about the Homespun yarns. I have also found the V stitch works well as you stitch between the stitches in the chain spaces.

Yeah I knit a rib stitch rectangle wrap with the home spun. I used really big needles for it. You need the big hook/needles be. The yarn need the bigger loops to slide through.

Thanks for the tips on working with the LB homespun yarn. It was the first yarn I tried when I learned to crochet - it hid a lot of mistakes, but I also made a lot of weirdly shaped items. I got a lion brand magnet for my extra item.

I love my secret stash bag. I received two mandala sequin yarns, two Schtts Creek yarns, one skin tone, and one big ice cream scoop yarn. I was able to use my reward points so I got mine for 11.00. This was such a great deal. I remember the purple yarn you received was around 11.00 on Lion brand.

First video of the morning cuz I need Jen to get me goin'. I giggled at Bentley and his appetite for craft supplies. My dog pulled out of the Michaels bag and shredded apart 2 Caron Cakes on 2 separate occasions. There was other yarn in there I got for $3 a skein but he HAD to have the Caron Cakes. ......sigh. Nice haul, Jen. I'm looking at the cotton right now. For some reason I seem to love cotton yarn.

Good morning sunshine! You had me cracking up today!🤣 A nice summer top out of the jeans yarn would be great to wear with jeans! I really like Homespum. I have made numerous things using it. It is so soft! I made 4 rectangle shawls 2 yrs ago 1 for my aunt and 1 for each of my 3 daughter in laws. My one daughter in law loved it so much she asked if I could make it a bit larger so she could use it as a lap ghan and of course I did. She uses it all the time. I made a rauna wrap for one of my granddaughters using the Mixed Berry colorway and she loves wrapping up in it. Isn't it ironic that you just bought black and of all the colors of schitts creek you get black🤪 Can't wait to see your super sparkly 💜 hat! Have a wonderful blessed day 🙏🏻💖

I finally got mine yesterday. I bought 2, I did not get any of the limited edition yarns. The only ones I have ever gotten in my mystery boxes have been the creams or greys. And I hate the limited editions as well. I got a good amount of the mandala sparkle. The Schitt's Creek yarn I have noticed that the softness depends on the color. I have quite a bit of it because I have 2 of Glenda's (Creative Grandma) blankets on my to do list.

Baby alpaca isn't BABY alpaca.... It's the soft fine undercoat of an adult. But yes, suri is AMAZING!! Especially since I can't use mohair. I made a cowl with sequin yarn.... I pushed every one of those suckers to the front!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂

That yarn looks like cotton wool when you squish it. I don't think I could touch it. In the years before cotton wool balls I had to get my Mum to tear off pieces from the roll and put it in a plastic bag because I couldn't bear to touch it. So not keen on that. 😂
