Lion Cubs Chase After Cars

A scary moment for drivers as playful lion cubs are fascinated by the cars they see driving along a service road in the game reserve. The cubs chase after the cars but decide the trucks are a bit too big!
Notice the lion cubs are not at all bothered by the safari vehicles which they are used to seeing.

Sadly my conclusion is that they are being fed from various cars, SUVs, and small trucks - learned behaviour. Nice footage.

No way these drivers would feed the lions - they were probably terrified. This is a private game reserve and the only cars driving the service roads are to supply the lodges. It was probably the first time these lions had seen a car (they are used to the safari vehicles) and they are curious youngsters.

It is in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve in South Africa.
